One thing to point out is that Solana is actually less centralised than Ethereum and has one of the highest Nakamoto coefficients out there.
Ethereum's concensus is heavily weighted towards Lido, also, as per the messari report, Solana relies far less on large centralised storage solutions such as Amazon's AWS or Google cloud than Ethereum or even Cardano.
