Had ps5 and psvr2. I had to exchange 3 units, all had defects, I finally gave up.
Fresnel lenses are better than the ones on quest 2, but nowhere close to pancakes. Oled is fine, but mura will kill your immersion.
$650 "gaming PC" + quest 2 will not give you results anywhere close to PSVR2. $650 is absolutely not enough to run a VR.
PCVR is a power hungry beast and I now run 4090 with 7800x3D and 32GB DDR5 via dedicated 6ghz wifi6e router to my quest 3 and the results are completely next level from PSVR2.
My entire setup with monitor and peripherals costs $7364 which is a lot.
But PSVR2 cannot compare with this.

i'm sorry but there's not enough pixels per degree. It still has the screen door effect. It still is using Frizzelle lenses. You still have to install lenses if you wear glasses it's still uncomfortable to wear it it still has a crappy field of you and I can't see spending a single penny on it when I see people trying to hide this piece of junk that I've tried myself personally, I have to start thinking there's an alternative reason why it's being height. I'm sorry but that's just my opinion I've tried them. I've tried them all there is not enough pixels per degree. That's the actual way to measure what you're seeing on each one of those separate screens and the truth is the Sony VR two is one of the lowest pixel per degree measurements out of all the headsets me personally I'm using an AWOL vision LTV 3500 laser projector with three pure color lasers on a floor rising vision storm ALR 120 inch screen. And if you want a gaming experience, a true knock you out of your shoes gaming experience with colors that no VR headset is ever going to reproduce. This is the way you should go if you're a hard-core gamer and you can afford it. This is the set up. It has two modes for lowering lag. I have a video on my Mr. dangerous ideas page on YouTube that will show there is zero lag it cannot be detected by the human eye
if you insist on having VR, my recommendation is just to be patient and wait the technology is not ripe. Just be patient and wait. I believe we are a long ways away from solving all of the problems and getting some decent content. Be patient. Wait you've got a couple years ago at least

This video seems like a marketing material and is very far from the truth…I am a big VR enthusiast and I have owned quest 2, pico 4, quest pro, quest 3 and psvr2.
I currently use my quest 3 with top of the line 4090 powered PC and I can compare 1:1 image quality between PSVR2 and PCVR QUEST 3.
There is no comparison, sorry.
With all the fresnel blurring, OLED mura, re-projection and limited VR titles, PSVR2 falls way behind the top if the line PCVR rig.
But considering the price, PS5 + PSVR2 costs around a $1000.
My PCVR setup costs $7000.
Is it 7x better? No, of course not.
But saying there is nothing on the market that can compare with PSVR2 is simply not true.

Airlink works really good so I wont be rushing out to get a ps5 + psvr but it's really good to hear there's another really good vr option out there, the more accessible VR is the better for the medium!

its a very good headset the only downside is it costs about as much as a index but if you have a ps5 then this is the best bet
