The metaverse has already taken off, and will no doubt soar. The problem Mark Zuckerberg has in pitching the metaverse is Mark Zuckerberg himself.
well, after alcohol and drugs, he probably has the 3rd best product to alienate people and destroy any sense of community we still have left.
Maybe the consumer market is not that stupid.

I can imagine people being against the internet… why use GPS when I can use a map LOOOOOOOL
I guess physically seeing and feeling things in person is still the best way to experience life.
Hmm… I would say they are bluffing! Because think about it, Meta is a multi BILLION dollar company with TONS of power, data, and influence, – so why would they allow themselves to look like they are failing unless it is apart of some profit? 🧐 In other words, if a company can pay to make themselves "look" like they are "succeeding" (as a way to influence profit) then surely they can also PAY to make themselves look like they are "failing." (as a way to influence profit.) But why on earth🌍 would they WANT to look like their failing? Because it lets our guard down .. and when our guard is down (psychologically) we are more susceptible to being "influenced" by the media (a.k.a Meta ). 💯
Imagine having a friend or relative hologram sit down with you and hang out. Meta is going to make a ridiculous amount of money in the future. I'm going to be able to hang out with my brother that lives across the country any time I like.
It's many things: a gaming platform, a virtual retail spot, a training tool, an advertising channel, a digital classroom, a gateway to entirely new virtual experiences. While the metaverse continues to be defined, its potential to unleash the next wave of digital disruption is clear.
AI, look closer
mr meta needs to check his arrogance and do something for the original quest owners he screwed over
