Saying "leverage hurts people" is like saying "guns kill people"… NO — people hurt themselves, with greed & poor risk management.
If I want to trade futures or margin at 2x or 100x, that should be my choice. Especially with auto-liquidation features & insurance that prevent anyone from getting into more trouble than they can cover.

Don't start shaking your finger at margin/futures traders just because you suck at it. If leverage is removed from anyone, it should be the casinos that we call "hedge funds" which gamble with other ppl's money (making risk just another four letter word).
