Seemingly speaking from within the digital replica of one Tuvalu island, the foreign minister Simon Kofe, said it was the only way to preserve their country ‘piece by piece’ so that they can remind their ‘children and grandchildren what their home once was’. Could a digital twin of Tuvalu preserve the island nation before it’s lost to the collapsing climate

I have a suggestion ,,,, maybe it's tuvalu can make artificial islands like in Dubai state ,,, Could it be the lagoon can be in the form with the sand from the sea sebinga can be a higher land ,, if it is possible, I hope Tuvalu does not move anywhere because of Tuvalu so beautiful
Get a Dutch engineer over there asap
Climate change is nothing more than climate cycle

We need to take this seriously 😮 even people commenting are making light of this
Typical Guardian garbage. Tuvalu land area GREW 3% in the last forty years. And the population doubled in the last twenty. Please explain, "Journalists"
Even then, we'd be jamming to our eas alarm as we drown to our last breath

I saw this movie before. Same script with different actors. The movie was called KIRIBATI.
Ppl are so gullible so lazy to investigate if something is true or not. Then later the same ppl will not understand how did they lost all the freedom they had before.
Real life Waterworld
If only we could go back in time and somehow slow down climate change. If we could, Tuvalu would have more centuries ahead. If somehow, we should slow sea level rise
Tuvalu mo te atua
Just create a political union with another country, near Tuvalu
Blame to the developed and developing country that really don't care about the climate change.
And the second flag in the background being the UN, the organization that was supposed to enforce climate change restrictions yet does nothing
“As our lands disappears”
That is just depressing man. People worked so hard for hundreds of years, too lose to themselves.
Outer Wilds. Those who know.
I hope this doesn’t happen!! We have to slow climate change down
