A great set of 2024 predictions Guy, but marred for me by the announcement of the Coin Bureau Club "giveaway" as a trip to Dubai including flights! In my experience members of the crypto-verse are extremely aware of the impending catastrophe that is the Climate and Ecological Emergency (one of the reasons we are here is our shared knowledge of the unsustainable damage being caused to global ecosystems by trad-fi capitalism) so offering such a seriously climate damaging "giveaway" rankles and is really out of kilter with the spirit of crypto. A "giveaway" if you like but please, one that is much more sensitive to the shared principles and values of retail adopters like myself.

Just amazing that YouTube is doing NOTHING to stop the scam/counterfeit ads that are pretending to be Crypto CEO's – they are NOT the actual people OR companies at all!!! They are all AI generated FRAUDS that convince naive new investors to send in their crypto for double back. Sadly, these ads are being posted on the GREAT crypto sites (Coin Bureau, Cryptosrus, etc.) and I KNOW Guy and George also wish YouTube would step up and take responsibility for the ads!

I believe the opposite – the main use case for L2's is just the dapps not on Erc20 L1's, but we will continue to see projects migrate to compatible L1's, and L2's should try to convert into L1's, this is possible and a trend that will be started by one of them. I think Polygon might be the first. Bridges are slow, expensive, risky and honeypots for hackers and can be avoided by avoiding L2's. for ETH to stay relevant, it needs to develop native scalability. Otherwise, it will be a store of value by its deflationary aspect with institutional interests and upcoming Eth ETF, but won't be used for Defi, its NFT market will likely remain because of its OG narrative, but not as market leader.

Hi as far as the airdrops go, can you give a basic tutorial for newbies on best way to pay for gas fees. ? imagine person knows nothing about crypto and they want to get into airdrops. Ive heard use Metamask ?
Payment with crypto will take a long time. Even with everything going perfect, mass adoption will be a slow go, due to society moving at a slugs pace. I dislike change, the only reason I love Bitcoin and other crypto is because I dislike regulation and authority. The regulation of crypto is a necessary evil and I'm slowly (at a slugs pace) coming to terms with that.
