Sometimes you can’t really get a decent picture painted until a decade after a ‘scandal,’ once the story has been buried from the news cycle and is long forgotten by 90% of Americans.

I’m not trying to derail this conversation into “yeah but look what they did.” This type of behavior is endemic in politics and it is imperative we are critical of both sides to have any shot at an equitable democracy.
