TRON USDT Supply Exceeds $70 Billion
Earlier today, TRON DAO, the decentralized governance body behind the network, announced that the circulating supply of USDT on TRON surpassed $70 billion.
TRON remains the preferred platform for USDT transfers at this milestone, solidifying its dominance over other blockchains like Solana and Ethereum. With USDT supply rising and crypto prices trending upward, analysts are asking: Will TRX break out and reach new all-time highs in May?
TRXUSDT surged to $0.45 late last year before cooling off as market momentum faded.
Technically, the uptrend remains, though TRX has moved sideways, down over 50% from its all-time high. If TRX bulls break above $0.30, prices could surge, retesting December 2024 highs in a bullish trend continuation that may also boost interest in some of the best meme coin ICOs to invest in 2025.

Tron is scalable, has low fees, and is reliable, boosting its place as a host for stablecoin transfers, particularly in emerging economies facing currency instability or limited banking access.

A report by Messari earlier this month showed that the network posted a 2.7% revenue growth in the last quarter, reaching $760.2 million.

Beyond USDT adoption, the filing for a spot TRX ETF by Canary is a game-changer.
Canary submitted an S-1 prospectus to the U.S. SEC to launch the first spot TRX ETF in the country.
Unlike the spot Ethereum ETF, this ETF will include staking, allowing investors to earn a passive income of around 4.6%.
