The Metaverse Beauty Week will take place from 12 to 17 June, with the global fashion community attending the event in the Metaverse this week.
Creative agency CULT has organised the five-day event, hosted on Decentraland, Spatial, and Roblox. Numerous in-person events will also kick off in London.
According to Decentraland, Lottie London, LUSH, Neutrogena, ULTA, FLANNELS Beauty, I AM PROUD, and other big names will attend the hybrid event. Also, the spatial gathering will target beauty and Web3 fans, while focusing on perceptions of beauty and fashion.
What’s On at the Metaverse Beauty Week?
The Metaverse Beauty Week 2023 promises to offer attendees a trove of immersive experiences on Decentraland’s massive metaverse platform. People can use their avatars to join in on games, learning experiences, and metaverse parties.
Decentraland will also host a marketplace for hosting digital assets online for hair, skin, makeup, and clothing.
Audiences can leverage their metaverse fashion non-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital assets, and other wearables at the event. Some of Decentraland’s top stars — SuperNina and CK Bubbles — will also attend.
Neutrogena brand ambassador, actress Kerry Washington, will also promote her brand’s technologies in an immersive experience.

Virtual Fashion Meets Real-World Successes
News of the Metaverse Beauty Week 2023 comes as multiple firms turn to immersive technologies to promote their products. Metaverse fashion firm House of Blueberry launched a joint project with Rebel Girls to unveil an immersive fashion experience.
Both parties dropped digital assets, immersive games, and a virtual launch party on the Roblox Metaverse platform to commemorate the event. The event plans to debut on 27 June, or the day of the Rebel Girls Level Up experience. It will host its Roblox-based shopping experience two days ahead of the main event.
Additionally, avatar development firm Ready Player Me also teamed up with Spatial and Polycount for the Vogue New World immersive fashion event last year.
Spatial leveraged its metaverse hosting technologies to accommodate visitors, providing online experiences and exhibitions for attendees. The event also incorporated blockchain technologies on the website, and attendees could access the fashion expo across mobile devices, headsets, and computers.
