-based non-fungible token (NFT) project is raising funds to buy an old Cold War bunker in the UK.
The team, known as Dead Bruv, plans to sell 100,000 new NFTs from their Meatbags series to finance the purchase of the shelter, located in Rutland.
Starting April 21, 10,000 tokens will be distributed to current holders, while the remaining tokens will be sold for $14 each.

Anyone who buys a token becomes part of a new group called the Billionaire Bunker Club. This group is organized as a decentralized community that will vote on how to use the bunker if the sale goes through.
Some suggestions include turning it into a private retreat with themed events, a small festival location, or a unique Airbnb with canned food service and other unusual touches.
Robert, one of the project’s co-founders, said in an April 18 post on X, “There’s not much to compare this to, but these are the kinds of things that made me fall in love with NFTs in the first place. Taking risks. Getting creative. Pushing the boundaries of what this tech can do to create something completely new, absurd, and incredible”.
The bunker itself is listed for £650,000 (about $862,000) and is set to go up for auction on April 24 through SDL Property Auctions. Built in 1960, it was used as part of a network that monitored nuclear activity and was taken out of service in 1968, according to the UK-based property auctioneer.
