, has raised its stake in Juventus Football Club to more than 10% of the total issued shares.
This decision, made official on April 15, 2025, gives Tether 6.18% of the club’s voting rights. The company had already owned 8.2% of Juventus before this latest purchase.
Juventus, founded in 1897 and based in Turin, is one of Italy’s most well-known football clubs. By raising its stake, Tether has shown interest in becoming more involved in the club’s future—not just as an investor, but also as a long-term partner.

Tether has made several large investments in other industries, including artificial intelligence (AI), biotech, and social media platforms. Its interest in Juventus adds sports to that list.
According to the company, it also plans to support Juventus if the club raises more money in the future. Tether said that it would be willing to invest again to help the club stay financially strong and avoid reducing its share of influence.
