for launching meme coins, has started bringing back its livestream feature after taking it down in November 2024.
The feature was removed following repeated issues with harmful or offensive content. It is being tested with just 5% of users as the team introduces new rules and moderation tools.
Alon Cohen, one of the platform’s co-founders, announced the limited return of livestreaming in a post on X on April 4. He explained that the system includes stronger moderation and clearly written guidelines to help keep the platform safe.

The updated policy outlines how the team plans to create a better space for users—one that encourages open discussion but avoids illegal or harmful behavior.
The rules ban several types of content, including violence, explicit adult material, abuse of animals, and anything that puts young people at risk. However, the policy also notes that the platform will not try to set a strict line for what is acceptable and what is not. It states that some “not safe for work” content is expected to appear.
Still, Pump.fun says it has the right to step in and judge content if needed. It can remove or moderate any livestream that crosses the line, even if the rules do not name it directly.
