Today we take a look at a Metaverse so awful it shouldnt exist. Income Island is one of the few metaverses you can actually play
I played the worst metaverse so you dont have to – Income Island, Scam or not?

Outro Song: “We’re on our way” by David Anderson Kirk
I loved it when Callum said "it's metaversing time" then he metaed all over the place
I realise now every person who loves these videos and decides to think about who is commenting and the commentary on commenters on their fave YouTube's and realise how scripted and not independently produced they thought their darling was. That's the thought you've got it from here, dear reader
If you think I meant Callum you're wrong 🙂 you're not wrong but yer wrong, water under the bridge no troubles
This was an absolute experience to watch hahah
You just don't believe…
Tell me the word revolution is on bingo boards
Took them 1 year to code, yeah 6 month to half learn, 5 months playing wow, 3 week sleeping and 1 week half assing coding it. LOL!!!!
The tunnels where great! man I never laught soo much.
The moment cryptobro's reverse ordered Alpha and Beta, just to forever tango on the Alpha/Beta cycle. Is the moment my mind… dial'd up.
Given we're seeing a number of these metaverse scams, and they all look quite similar, I have two theories: Firstly, that these are not even made by the scammers, but rather they're using Fivver or similar to outsource a 'game'. Secondly, that there's a tutorial video or discord or something for "get rich quick by making a metaverse"
So remember when you said there was a word limit?
There was. That was written by ChatGPT. 100%
That canned background muzak is as bad as the metaverse
stop fucking censoring you weak-willed imbecile to the machine
The "game" looks like an early VR tech-demo ported (badly) to PC. Putting a drivable vehicle in a game is now so easy, it isnt even remotely impressive anymore.
Ah yes, Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing's younger and somehow even shittier cousin…
All that NFT and crypto crap is basically just the same sort of easy money craze as when company shares became a thing or that tulip craze in the 17th century, only with less of a product and way more con men involved
These people trying to advertise their "metaverse" as an online social space where you can participate in "exciting events" and can create, buy, and sell digital content don't seem to realize that Second Life has been around for 2 decades.
Only Second Life can be considered an established real Metaverse for now, 20 years of evolution and maturity regarding activities, contents and thriving economy
I was 15 years old, I opened RPG Maker… I tried to do anything without tutorials, thinking that "maker" was a word that meant that the program would do everything for me… I started learning… I made a map as empty and meaningless as Income Island using default and free assets…
But I had shame and I didn't try to sell it!!!
"Buy a plot and asset-flip house with real money and get paid back in no-value crypto that no one uses"
10:30 the suggested "also views" at the bottom say it all lmao
lmao this is even worse than i expected
"Oh my sweet Jesus!" – Callum Upton 2023
This could literally be done faster and better in second life
Hahahahaha “you crypto bros love to watch Andrew Tate, right? I felt that this is at least one thing you would have taken away from his content; alpha before beta.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 I subscribe!! I subscribe!!! You have me at “hello”!!! 😂😂😂
The weird thing is that this Web 3 shit has actually been around even before Web 2.0. I remember some 'social media' VR worlds you could join back in 2000. Damned if I could remember what it was called, but you had 'property' and all that as well (I had a castle called Dol Amroth). You had to use a plugin from Blaxxun in order to render the world.
'Making a metaverse' is the new 'please be patient I have autism'
reason why i remove and disable the Windows Store full of crap
GTA Grypto edition.
AnimeSHK7685 is an evillain.
this boost my confidence as a game dev, so good job
They are Tate fans and in Tate land alpha = better. So they probably think the alpha is the more complete version based on that logic. Literally crytobrotards and NOT actual gamers.
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing Is a more complete game than this, has better collision to boot.
Maybe the fact that none of the assets have collision is actually meant as an artistic commentary on the ephemeral nature of the crypto world, where nothing is solid. 😂
Also, damn… idk much about Microsoft Store apps, but let's hope they can't elevate to admin privileges while installing, or that you test out all these scammy apps in a VM or some kind of isolated testing environment. Because what with the whole "obvious total scam" vibe Income Island has going on – that part at 13:58 with the "Internet connection lost" Windows notification really woulda had me nervous that their skeezy app was installing some kind of backdoor crypto miner bot malware on my PC which was screwing with the OS somehow.
Dude… it was criminal that you talked over that rap… 😂
Edit: PC gamer did an article on 'FOMO Fuel' I think it just failed already 🤣 (not that PC Gamer can be trusted)
> Metaverse game
> Beta
> Single player
🤔
Pretty sure wii sports is a better metaverse than most of these metaverses.
13:38 Well at least the music is good. Though that takes the least effort to program these days
I dare you to launch a Metaverse called "Doogledong Island"
It's like Roblox, but bad
I'm shocked they don't offer this on the Epic launcher given that those motherfuckers love web3 bullshit. Steam's got it banned but Epic? That's their jam. :V
I'm losing my mind looking at the speedo in this car you're driving around. We got from 0 to 20, then 20 to 60 going up by 40 for some reason, then from 60 to 80 so we're back to going up by 20s, then at 100 it starts going up in 50s for some reason and it looks like between 200 and 300 you drop back down to 25.
I also just realised that the frame I've paused it on while looking at the speedo, shows on the actual dial that you're doing about 68 kph, but the big green text at the bottom of the speedo says you're doing 87 MPH!? Where did mph come from? the whole dial is in kph and why is the mph number bigger!? lmfao
guys, do you want to develop a metaverse app?
