In an October 01 blog post, Ben Armstrong announced plans to sell his Bored Ape Yacht Club, an NFT collection from the digital asset firm Yuga Labs. The NFT influencer offers his Bored Ape Yacht Club #8424 NFT collection for just 56 ETH or $96,488 at current crypto prices.

Furthermore, Ben Armstrong also offered a physical statue for his Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT that roughly cost $10,000 and a $ 2,500 painting of the same. Ben Armstrong appears to be in a financial crisis, and he is raising some funds to fix it.

Ben Armstrong Faces Massive Criticism

The non-fungible token investor and influencer “Ben Armstrong” has received massive criticism after announcing plans to sell one of his expensive NFT collections, with many of his followers citing that he would have done that before rather than seeking donations.

Last month, Ben Armstrong appeared before the Cobb County Superior Court in Georgia as a part of his ongoing lawsuit against Hit Network CEO TJ Shedd and Shedd’s father. Sadly, he was denied an order to regain control of his company with documents reading that “Plaintiffs failed to meet their burden” to support the case.

At the time, Ben Armstrong appealed to his supporters to support him in raising funds for his legal defence. In just 24 hours, Fans had already donated roughly $60,000 worth of Ethereum and Bitcoin, according to Etherscan and blockchain data for two of Armstrong’s crypto wallets.
